Any targets for the year? Amy films you particularly want to see?

Last year my aim was 25 films a month for 300 for the year and I'd be happy enough with that again. The first part of the year will be working through recordings from Christmas and Hitchcock boxset. When I'm done Hitchcock will surpass Spielberg as the director with the ost films I've seen! Should also reach 1000 films on my official list.

Is that 1000 different films that you've seen overall?

It is indeed. Though its not 100% accurate. There'll be some films thast I saw when I was younger that I cant remember and a few I've seen bits of but I'm not sure I've seen the whole thing.

When did you start making notes (mental or otherwise) of what it was you've seen? I've been doing it for about 12 years! Very Happy

Targets for the year, not sure really. I hope to see at least one film each day in at least six different months. It's harder than it sounds, but I just managed it last year and I'm well on track for January. Hoping to average at least one cinema film per week as well, but I haven't managed that since about 2003.

Overall, I'd love to beat my 2005 record of 768 films, but that'll never happen. I spend too much time internetting nowadays!

I only started keeping a record in 2004. (78 films)

Then some time that year or maybe 2005 I decided to try and list every film I'd ever seen. Using the household VHS/DVD collection and imdb I think I got most of them.

Well, one month into 2009 and I managed to see at least one film per day! 54 films in all, that's the most films I've seen in one month since March 2006 when I had a total of 67. It was at that time I got 24 hour internet access and my time on Empire skyrocketed Very Happy

Only 24 films in February for me, bit of a pathetic last week due to a lot of football. Then was supposed to be watching a film on friday but was on the computer at the same time so barely looked at the screen, then fell asleep during Toy Story so not counting that either!

Thanks to my PC messing about and the fact I've spent most of the last 24 hours trying to fix it, April 2nd is the first day this year I haven't seen a film Sad
