There's nothing much that's better than a good film poster. Well, there is, but that's not the point. I love film posters though. A few favourites of mine, and post your own.
Obvious choice first. It tells you diddly about the film, but it is both inviting and foreboding. Plus it brings back memories of the fantastic music that accompanies the scene.
I love these three that came out for Open Range, reminds of the art during the credits of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
The old horror films have some great artwork
A few Disney favourites
I remember Disney did quite a few posters in the same style of Beauty and The Beast round that time. A nice Aladdin one, The Little Mermaid etc.
Some Hitchcock
and the last one for now, a Spielberg favourite

Nice ones Gimli!! I'm gonna post a few of my favourites here!!
Here's a few from Terry Gilliam's finest...
Here's a few from Woody Allen's more recent efforts, even if the quality of the films are middling, they do yield good posters...
And now, for a few from Ken Russell!!

Just a shame that The PhantomMenace poster has the bloody annoying oik on it. Great idea though.
Poland has some superb posters.

Yeah, countries like Poland and Czechoslovakia came up with some BRILLIANT poster designs during the era the Soviets ruled the roost. It makes you wish that Hollywood's poster artists and marketing people would take notice...
Here's a couple more ones for Kubrick's films, and you know what?? I think he would have been proud!!
The Shining
A Clockwork Orange
Here's a few more I like!!
Blade Runner
Yellow Submarine
The Return of the Pink Panther
Jabberwocky
