Girly films it's actually ok for a man to like.

When us guys arent enjoying Chuck Norris, Van Damme and Schwarzenegger films, sometimes we like to kick back and enjoy the softer side of movies.

I'm talking about slushy flicks which are more commonly geared toward the fairer sex - the one's with romance and no kung fu or gunplay. I for one actually REALLY enjoy Titanic and would go so far as to award it 5/5 - i actually find the romantic element integral to the plot which actually makes the sinking that even more tragic and id be more than happy to sit down and watch it anytime it's on. Other notable films in my non manly list would also include:

Notting Hill
Love Actually
Sex And The City (it actually was a real surprise!)
Four Weddings and a Funeral
Murial's Wedding

And whilst i dont admit it to DC, what i saw of Mama-Mia was actually quite enjoyable. So lads, come on im sure that we're all deep down, fans of some chick flicks....arent we?

10 Things I Hate About You? Only because I've found some guys admit to liking this!! Ok, I'm not actually an expert on girly girly films as it's the one genre I avoid...I'm afraid that I can't stand Notting Hill, & as for Love Actually... ... but I think it's a little girly!

10 Things is actually VERY funny in places, a film i actually quite enjoy. Another notable mention i forgot when originally doing this post was Ghost.

I frickin LOVE this film, it's litterally a film with something for everyone - horror, action, comedy, romance. I could quite happily watch this film anytime and still enjoy it after repeated viewings.

I'm not really one for Chick Flicks, but I do like is French Kiss (1995), with Meg Ryan being all kooky as she tries and gets her fiance back with a French thief (Kevin Kline). It's a guilty pleasure of mine...
