Shadow Of The Collossus

Another video game adaptation in the works is Shadow Of the Collossus, the PS2 classic. For those who've not heard of the game before, it centres around a hero who in return to save his beloved's life has to slay 12 gigantic monsters around the mythical land he frequents. The game itself was pretty sparse and desolate when not engaged in the slaying of skyscraper sized monsters, but these fights were absolutely epic, imagine having to climb the equivilent of a 12 story moving building and finding its sweet spot to bring it crashing to its knees? The game was THAT cool.

Whether or not it translates well into a film is another story, despite the monster slaying action there wasnt an awful lot of story in the game. It's being adapted by the guy who's doing the writing for the next Streetfighter movie
