Anyways. lets go back in time to 1996/97. Tim Burton was originally attached to direct Superman Lives with Nicolas Cage as Superman. Alas, it never happened when Warner Bros. baulked at the $200 million budget, but check out these costumes from Burton's abandoned take on it!!
