Unfortunately, whatever the programmers say, New Zealand doesn't get the best of world television, so needless to say Uncle hasn't played here. It looks like one I'd enjoy. The best television I've seen lately has, with a few exceptions, been series that I've bought from overseas.


Death In Paradise 6:2 (I gather it's Kris Marshall's last series )

A good show - 4/5. And yes, it is his last. Still not sure yet about the need bod.

I read that Kris Marshall's replacement is Ardal O'Hanlon. Father Dougal as a D.I. - should be interesting.


I never watch award shows - can't abide all the bullshit, however I think Casey Affleck deserved his win. Also, I wonder how much of the first Islamic actor's win was motivated by the Academy wanting to give Trump a big "Fuck You".
