Apart from maybe the final battle I love that film. Great start to the series - 4/5

A bit creaky by today's standards, and Arthur Askey is definitely an acquired taste, but overall it's good fun. (It would be nice to be able to compare it with the so-called "lost" version, which starred Cicely Courtneidge and Jack Hulbert.) 3/5
